(after Framenau & Vink 2001): The male pedipalp of V. pullastra differs from all other species of Venatrix by the presence of a bifurcate tip on the terminal apophysis. The lateral process of the tegular apophysis is bent proximally and very short. The epigyne has the typical anchor-shape with a broad posterior transverse part.
