(after Framenau & Vink 2001): Venatrix archookoora is similar to V. australiensis, V. roo and V. mckayi. Males can be distinguished by the shape of the tegular apophysis of the male pedipalp, which is triangular in ventral view and has a small pointed protrusion on its apical edge. The female of this species is unknown.
