Artoriopsis
(after Framenau & Douglas 2021): Amongst other Australian Artoriinae, Artoriopsis species can easily be distinguished by their distinct light lateral bands on the carapace and their abdominal colouration with a central diamond-shaped black patch that is cut into half by the light median cardiac mark. There is a posterior light patch in most species. Artoriopsis whitehouseae and A. bogabilla is the only species with a more uniform dark colouration, but genital morphology generally matches other species in the genus, particularly the basoembolic apophysis of the male pedipalp, that is basally narrower or as narrow as apically.
