Trochanteriidae
(after Azavedo et al. 2022): Trochanteriidae can be diagnosed by an extremely flat carapace, with a reflexed border; a flat posterior median eyes lens that is contiguous with carapace cuticle; by a clypeus produced in a median lobe; laterigrade legs; absence of claw tufts; anterior lateral spinnerets with incomplete distal article and with inflatable area; and epigynal field formed by a divided plate.
