Based on the original description, P. kochi is unlikely a representative of Paraplectanoides, but may belong to Demadiana. However, the whereabouts of the holotype female is unknown and further assessment requires examination of topotypical material. The only record of P. kochi is represented by its holotype female collected at Cape York (Queensland).
