Genus 3313 ginninderranus is currently misplaced in the genus Araneus. It differs from Araneus psittacinus (as illustrated in Dondale 1966) in the structure of the male pedipalp, in particular in the more rounded and shorter basal terminal apophysis lobe that carries small denticles in both species. It is most similar to Genus 3313 FP-11457, currently only known from the Perth Hills.
