Dolophones FP-11626 appears conspecific with the male illustrated in Davies (1988) as D. tuberculata, but type material of that species needs to be examined to confirm her identification. The species differs distinctly in somatic and genital morphology from the other male currently on the Fauna Portal, Dolophones FP-11628.
