The colour pattern of Anepsion FP-11616 is similar to that of A. peltoides and A. wichmanni, however, the genitalia are distinctly different. Males lack the elongated median apophysis of both species. The female epigyne is most similar to that of A. peltoides, but the posterior rim is excavated centrally in Anepsion FP-11616, but not so in the latter.
