(after Framenau & Douglas 2021): Artoriopsis murphyi is very similar to A. eccentrica, but differs in details of the male genitalia, in particular the shape of the tegular apophysis. This is bent dorsally into the cymbium in A. eccentrica, but not so in A. murphyi. The profile of the tegular apophysis in retrolateral view is also less pronounced in A. murphyi. The female of this species is unknown.
