(after Framenau 2007): The tegular apophysis of the male pedipalp of A. anacardium is similar to that of A. melissae; however, in A. anacardium it continuously narrows to end in a sharp tip, whereas it is constricted at two thirds of its length in A. melissae, widens again and terminates in a blunt tip. The female epigyne is very similar to that of A. klausi and A. melissae, however the median septum appears much rounder than in the latter two species in which it forms a rectangle.
