(after Framenau 2007): The massive tegular apophysis of A. eccentrica is unique within the genus. In ventral view, it is of the same width along its whole length and its apical tip bends dorsally towards the cymbium. Likewise, the median septum of the female is very distinctive within the genus. It is very narrow with a diamond shaped centre.
