(after Framenau & Hudson 2017): The somatic morphology and colouration of T. arabanae is very similar to that of T. caudex. Both species are very light yellow-brown without any distinct colour patterns. Whereas the epigyne of T. arabanae has two separate anterior hoods, the anterior margin of T. caudex is continuous. The male of T. caudex is not known.
