Alopecosa leonhardii differs from the second species in Genus 3448 by the black ventral tibia of the first leg, in addition to subtle differences in genital morphology. Diagnostic images of this species will be uploaded in due course.
Alopecosa madigani (Hickman, 1944) is an unpublished junior synonym of A. leonhardii.
