The epigyne of Oxyopes FP-6136 is unique within the genus, with the pointy median septum most similar to that of O. attenuatus as illustrated in Grimshaw (1991); however, the images of the holotype of O. attenuatus by Baehr et al. (2017) show a much blunter shape. In either case, the abdomen of O. attenuatus is elongated, but not in Oxyopes FP-6136.
