Wheatbelt Groovy Slater Buddelundia sulcata (Budde-Lund, 1912)

Frontal shield divided into upper and lower sections by a transverse groove with slight indentation in central part. Interlocking structures on pereonite 1 and 2 as in Figs 6681 and 6682. Schisma of pereonite 1 with epimera border extending further backwards than inner lobe in lateral view. Distal margin of pereonite 1 thickened with long and deep sulcus arcuatus open at the anterior end.
The specimens illustrated here have been identified by comparison with type material at the Natural History Museum, London. Identification of this species is not possible using the the original description by Budde-Lund (1912).
