Frontal shield divided into upper and lower sections by a transverse groove. Frontal line smoothly elliptical and raised slightly from vertex of the head. Interlocking structures on pereonite 1 and 2 refer to photographs. Distal margin of pereonite 1 thickened with prominent sulcus arcuatus.
This species has been recollected from the type locality. Only fragments of the holotype remain at the Museum of Natural History, Londan and an identification based on these and the original description by Budde-Lund (1912) is difficult. Of all species collected at the type locality, the species illustrated here is considered to most likely represent B. labiata.
