Barrow Island Spectacular Slater
Armadillidae genus 466 (BWI gen. 1)
Type species: Armadillidae genus 466 FP-2673
Fauna Portal Genus Number: 466
(after Judd & Perina 2013): Considered monotypic genus known only from five sites on the eastern half of Barrow Island. In contrast to Buddelundia and Barrowdillo it is dorso-ventrally flattened and appears to have limited capacity for conglobation. It is light in colour and the brown pigmentation on the pleon and pereonite 1 is unusual. The genus shares the same arrangement of the pleopod exopodites found in Buddelundia and Barrowdillo; so it is included in the subfamily Buddelundiinae.
