Frontal shield divided into upper and lower sections by a transverse groove. Clypeus (area above mouthparts) swollen and projecting forward. Interlocking structures on pereonite 1 and 2 as in Figs 6851 and 6852. Inner lobe of schisma of pereonite 1 longer than epimera border and notably visible lateral view.
This species can only be diagnosed by molecular methods (COI barcoding).
