Stephanopis FP-6022 is very similar to Stephanopis FP-12267. Males differ in the slimmer retrolateral tibial apophysis of the male pedipalp that has a longer, basally directed tip. The epigyne of females is covered by broad setae, but the setae of Stephanopis FP-12267 are spatulate.
