Stephanopis FP-14250 is very similar to S. longimana, but differes in details of the male pedipalp morphology, with the retrolateral tibial apophysis less bent retrolaterall (in ventral view) and the curved embolus tip. In addition, S. longimana has so far only been found in eastern Australia, whereas Stephanopis FP-14250 is from Western Australia.
