Prodidomus
Prodidomus is the only genus in the family Prodidomidae in Australia. Platnick and Baehr (2006) diagnosed the genus from genera in the Molycriinae, today part of the Gnaphosidae as follows:
Members of Prodidomus can easily be distinguished from all other Australasian prodidomids [now molycriine gnaphosids] by their short anterior lateral spinnerets and greatly enlarged posterior lateral spinnerets.
