Demadiana

Type species: Dema simplex Karsch, 1878
(after Framenau et al. 2010): Members of Demadiana differ from Arkys in the presence of deep setal pits with spherical sockets on the carapace, sternum and paturon, the presence of elongated trumpet-shaped aggregate gland spigots on the PLS of both males and females, and by their small size (body length less than approximately 3.5 mm).
