This species is currently listed in Argyrodes, however, more likely belongs to the genus Euryopes and therefore listed under that genus on the Fauna Portal. Argyrodes binotatus differs from the second Euryopis on the Fauna Portal distinctly by somatic and genitalic characters, such as the lack of a white spot on the venter of the abdomen and a less conspicuous lobe retrolaterally at the cymbium.
