Ancocoelus FP-13437 differs dinstinctly by the abdominal pattern from A. livens, the only other species of the genus on the Fauna Portal.
The species was originally found on Barrow Island. Males from the WA Goldfields region are included here, but there are slight variation in pedipalp morphology and they may represent a different species pending find further material to better judge intraspecific variation.
