The epigyne of female Isala FP-13431 is distinctive with lateral sclerotised covers that become wider posteriorly. It is similar to the epigyne of I. arenata and I. cambridgei, but those species look very different somatically. The species is somatically similar to Isala FP-13432, but the epigynes of both species are very different.
