Males of Cheiracanthium gracile are easily identified against other species on the Fauna Portal by its distinct carapace colouration that features grey bands and the highly elongated basal cymbial spur. The epigyne is characteristic with an ovoid posterior opening surrounded by a sclerotised ring.
The specimens illustrated here were identified based on the descriptions in Dondale (1966).
