Simple Demadiana Demadiana simplex (Karsch, 1878)

Diagnosis

(after Framenau et al. 2010):  Males of Demadiana simplex differ from all other species of Demadiana by the convex lateral margins and truncated tip of  the median apophysis of the pedipalp. The female epigyne of this species has a unique anterior V-shaped weak sclerotisation that is absent in all other Demadiana species.

Female holotype, no exact locality (New South Wales, Australia), no date, E. Daemel (Museum für Naturkunde, Zentralinstitut der Humboldt-Universität, Berlin; ZMB 1308).
