Diagnosis

(after Framenau et al. 2010): Males of Demadiana complicata can be distinguished from all other Demadiana species by the shape of the median apophysis which is longer than wide and, unique within the males of the genus, has one convex and one concave lateral margin. The female of the species is unknown.
