Diagnosis

(after Framenau et al. 2010): Demadiana carrai shares with D. milledgei the straight anterior carapace margin, however males differ distinctly by the shape of the median apophysis that is longer than wide and has a sharp tip in D. carrai, but wider than long in D. milledgei and the tip is blunt. The female of D. carrai is not known.
