Delorrhipis is part of the Savignia-group (sensu Millidge 1977) but has not been diagnosed with modern taxonomic methods.
Wunderlich (1995) claims a synonymy of Delorrhipis with Savignia referring to Millidge (1980). None of Millidge's papers of that year has a reference to these genera. The paper that Wunderlich (1995) cites for Millidge is actually Millidge (1977) which lists Delorrhipis as valid genus in the Savignia-group, but does not synonymise them. Hence, we here list Delorrhipis for Australia as originally published by Simon (1908).
