Forsterina
Fauna Portal Genus Number: 433
The genus Forsterina was established by Lehtinen (1967) and has not been treated since. He provided a diagnosis in tabular form that is difficult to replicate here. Inclusion of species in Fosterina are here tentative pending a more thorough investigation into the genus in Australia. Here, we consider Forsterina medium-sized vagrant spiders, often with fisbhone-pattern on the abdomen, and with complex retrolateral tibial apophysis on the male pedipalp.
