Diagnosis

Of the four species of Xestaspis found on Barrow Island, Xestaspis FP-258 is most similar to Xestaspis FP-259, but differs in the slightly smaller size and the lighter colour, in particular the legs are lighter than the body. Both species illustrated here may represent the same species pending the discovery of males of Xestaspis FP-259.
