Diagnosis

(after Platnick 2000): Males of Lamponella kimba can be recognized by the sinuous median apophysis and moderately long, triangular retrolateral tibial apophysis, females by the combined presence of an anteriorly depressed epigynum and laterally deflected anterior portions of the spermathecae.
