Diagnosis

Lamponella FP-219 is characterised by the simple apical section of the male pedipalp with an indistinct median apophysis compared to all other species of the genus as illustrated in Platnick (2000). It is currently only known from Barrow Island (Western Australia) and there the only species of Lamponella.
