Yesabah Garden Orb-weaver Hortophora yesabah Framenau & Castanheira, 2021
Fauna Portal species: 11163Diagnosis
(after Framenau et al. 2021): The male pedipalp of male H. yesabah , specifically the shape of the median apophysis is unlike any other in the genus, as it terminates in two large somewhat pointy lobes, of which the dorsal one is heavily sclerotised. Females of H. yesabah are similar to the ones of H. lodicula , however, the epigyne of H. yesabah is broad at the base of the scape, whereas it is narrow at the base of the scape in H. lodicula.
