Diagnosis

(after Baehr et al. 2019): Males of Jotus albimanus differ from congeners by the palpal femur, patella, tibia and cymbium covered with long white setae; patella I with a fringe of long and dark setae; embolic disc wider than long and very broad rim; embolus with pointed tip, closely accompanied by semicircular conductor.
