Both somatic and genitalic characters identify Cryptachaea veruculata. The abdomen has a diamond-shaped central dark mark dorsally and a central pale square ventrally. The male pedipalp has a conductor with a broad and a narrow apical lobe, the female epigyne two small triangular, sclerotised protrusions.
