Cryptoerithus FP-275 males are most similar to those of C. halli, specifically based on the serrated edge of the retrolateral tibial apophysis. But the genital morphology clearly differs between both species (see Platnick and Baehr 2006; figs 600–604). The female epigyne is unique within the genus containing a large sclerotised central piece that has a posterior, tongue-shaped section.
