(after Raven 2015): The female of Nucastia eneabba differs from those of N. virewoods by the large pallid spots dorsally and extending laterally on the abdomen as well as the closer copulatory openings. This species is overall smaller and lighter than Nucastia FP-11679 and the abdominal pattern is different. In addition to the palid spots in N. eneabba, the scute in Nucastia FP-11679 has a cover of white setae and there are further light spots posteriorly. In males, the palid spots are connected with white setae in Nucastia FP-11679, but not so in N. eneabba. However, with finding further material these two species may turn out to be variations of a single species.
