Nucastia
FP-11679
Discoverer: V.W. Framenau (2022)
Fauna Portal species: 11679Diagnosis
Nucastia FP-11679 is similar to N. eneabba and they may represent variations of the same species. However, there are distinct and consistant differences between both species in size and colouration, with N. eneabba the smaller and overall lighter species. In addition, the abdomnial colouration of both species is different, with the scute in Nucastia FP-11679 covered by white setae and additional white spots posteriorly. In males, the white spots are connected with white setae, but not so in N. eneabba.
