The genus Eutittha was diagnosed from Cheiracanthium by Esyunin and Zamani (2020) who also transferred some Australian species to the genus. The characters that can be used to diagnose the genus within an Australian context include (1) the narrow cymbial fold stretches along the retrolateral margin and does not break the symmetry of the cymbium of the male pedipalp, (2) the embolic base of the pedipalp is in apical-prolateral or apical position, (3) a tegular apophysis on the pedipalp is absent and (4) the copulatory ducts of the epigyne are twisted around or in front of the spermathecae.
