This species is currently only known from Barrow island and differs distinctly from the second species of Eurybrachidae occurring there by the flatter body shape and apically narrow tegmina.
This species was referred to the genus Maeniana by taxonomic experts on the Auchenorrhyncha early in the Barrow Island project.
