Green Taurella Taurella viridis (Ashton, 1912)

(after Ashton 1912): Allied to Melampsalta sulcata Distant, with the same narrow crescent-shaped opercula, but differing in the shorter tegmina, as well as in colour. Melampsalta froggatti Distant and and M. capistrata Ashton have similar curiously shaped opercula.
Linnean Type
Holotype male, Queensland (?), coll. F.P. Dodd, Australian Museum (Ashton 2012).
