(after Moulds 1985): Rostrum not reaching to distal end of hind coxae; width of head including eyes greater than 10 mm, length of body rarely less than 25 mm.
External illustrations of genitalia (terminalia) cannot be used to identify planthoppers at the species level; male genitalic preparations are generally required. These illustrations here only serve to facilitate to determine the sex for the user.
