Males of Caliscelidae FP-899 are probably most similar to those of Caliscelidae FP-13634 but lack the V-shaped marking on the dorsal thorax.
Females are most similar to Caliscelidae FP-914, but lack the lateral pale band on the thorax, and Caliscelidae FP-2745, but lack the protruding preclypeus. Characteristic for female FP-914 is also the dorsal light band on the abdomen which has a deeply jagged margin.
