Diagnosis

(after Hickman 1951): Dipoena aculeatus is readily distinguished from the preceding species, Dipoena setosus, by the form of the abdomen.

The species illustratied here is referred to Hickman's (1951) Trigonobothrys aculeatus based on its similarity with the original description and illustration pending a taxonomic revision of the genus.
