(after Gross 1976): Body bright shiny, above contrasting colour patches intense. Head impunctate, pronotum, scutellum and conaceous parts of hemelytra sparsely or more densely punctate, punctations with the colour of the patches they occupy. Head broad basally, eyes conspicuous, in front of eyes deflected downwards; juga broad, their exterior margins narrowly reflexed; apical portion of anteclypeus depressed below level of apices of juga. Pronotum with a distinct impressed transverse line not reaching anterolateral margins and obsolete medially about halfway between base and apex, anterolateral margins explanate or reflexed.
