Shield Bug
Minchamia Gross, 1976
Type species: Minchamia hubbardae Gross, 1976
Fauna Portal Genus Number: 3644
(after Gross 1976): Minchamia shares with Borrichias and Roeburnea the prominently swollen basal area of the head. The sides of the juga and pronotum like some of the Basicryptus species are completely devoid of serrulations and unlike Borrichias the juga are not acute nor the lateral angles of the pronotum produced. The genus appears to fall between Basicryptus and Roebournea.
