Everardia
(based on Gross 1976): Smallish, rather oval; head not large in relation to overall size, anteriorly rounded, anteclypeus rather broad. Anterolateral margins of pronotum straight or slightly concave in anterior half, at about half way abruptly angling exteriorly to continue strongly diverging to obtuse or subacute lateral angles, pronotum thereby appearing medially constricted in outline. Hemelytra leaving most of laterotergites exposed, latter with posterior exterior angle armed with a short acute spine. Antennae relatively robust; rostrum reaching hind coxae; metasternal-mesosternal keels robust and projecting over posterior portion of prosternum. Tibiae vaguely flattened.
