(after Jacobi 1928): Head broader than the pronotum as seen from above. Vertex as in Bilbilis and Lipocallia. Frons with three sharp keels, the middle one continuous with the clypeus, sometimes with, sometimes without lateral keels. Pronotum granular. Tegmina with lobe-like extension at the base, which reach at least as far as the antennae, but are not bent downwards; surface entirely reticulate, the main veins more or less dissolved. Hindtibiae with two spines.
Generic limits to Lipocallia not clear pending a revision of male genitalia (https://biodiversity.org.au/afd/taxa/Bilbilicallia).
